What if my swimming lessons fall on rainy day?
You can liaise directly with your coach or vice versa with regards to your class status during bad weathers. However, please note that your instructor may not be contactable when he/she is coaching. Swimming lessons during thunderstorm and lightning will be postponed until safe weather conditions prevail.
Can I choose between male and female swimming instructor?
Yes. You can definitely choose the gender of instructor you are comfortable with. However, female instructors has very high demand and so there are limited time slot available if you wish to have a female swimming instructor. Please refer to Lady Swimming Lessons for pricing and details.
Are your swim coaches certified?
Yes. Our coaches are certified by Singapore Sport Council and Singapore Swimming Teacher’s Association. They are definitely certified life guard too. We take your swimming lessons seriously and guarantee students safety throughout the lesson.
What is the maximum size of your group lesson?
It depends on which level you are referring to. For adult group classes, the maximum number of student in a group is around 10 students. For Kids Group classes, the size will be 8-10 students.
What do I need to bring for my swimming lesson?
You need to have your own swim gear, goggles and float board for the first lesson. Your swimming instructor may advise you to buy other equipments if needed.
What is the difference between private swimming lesson and group swimming lesson?
Private swimming lesson is referring to individual one to one or small group lesson form by you. We will send our instructors to your desired location and conduct the lesson at your desired timing. All we ask from you is to complete 4 lessons in a month.
For group swimming lesson, we have scheduled timetable and location. You may select the most suitable timing and location from the timetable if you wish to join our existing group lesson. Group swimming lessons may not be suitable for children younger than 3 years old. Adult group swimming lessons is now available too.
What if my child cries during the swimming lesson?
If your child cries, it doesn’t really mean your child isn’t ready for swimming lessons. Your child may be adjusting to the separation from Mom or Dad, getting accustomed to the new surroundings, or just having a bad day. Give your child some time and let him develop his confident, very soon he will be able to enjoy this wonderful experience in a total relax environment with us.
Where do you normally conduct your swimming lesson?
We conduct private swimming lesson island-wide. All we need from you is authorize us to access the pool. For group swimming lesson, we conduct our group classes at various public swimming complex like Bukit Batok Swimming Complex, Bedok Swimming Complex, Yio Chu Kang Swimming Complex, etc. Because our schedule of classes is constantly evolving with our students, we unfortunately do not have a set schedule that we can post or send to you. Please contact us for the time schedule.
At what age should my child begin swimming lesson?
A child who is as young as 6 months old can start to learn to swim. Usually, young children have no fear of water and can adapt very quickly to the water environment. In fact, parents can actually conduct a mini swimming lesson at the home bathtub. We very much welcome you to sign up your child with us to have a professional swimming lesson since young. How long will it take for my child or myself to learn how to swim?
There is no fixed timeline for this. Everyone has different ability in Sport. Hence, they will learn in a different pace. For individual with water phobia, they will take longer process. Take your time with us, you will definitely enjoy the learning process.
Why are infant and young toddler class have shorter lesson period?
Research shows that young children have shorter concentration span. Therefore they will get tired quickly and tend to reject any other information if the lesson continue on for too long. Keeping the class period shorter will keep their interest in swimming.
