FAQ for Toddler Swimming Lessons
What is the age range for this particular category?
Children aged between 2 to 4 years old would be considered under the Young Toddlers’ category.
Can I group my 3 years old kid with 8 year old kid together?
As they are in different categories, we recommend to conduct the class separately. We will suggest a back to back lesson for your children. We will be using different syllabus for toddler and kid swimming lessons.
Can I enroll my toddler to join Kid's Swimming Lessons?
It is not advisable to do so. As our kid’s class is design for kids age 5 and above, your child may have difficulty in catching up the pace. It may be counter-productive to do so. We will however, consider the decision on a case by case basis to see if the child is suitable for the class.
Do I need to be in the pool together with my child?
You are welcomed to join your child for the first few lesson. It will help reducing the anxiety your child may be facing due to separation from parents.
What should I bring along for the lessons?
The child’s swimming attire and goggles would sufficient. However, if you have a float board for the child, do bring it along.
What is the duration of each lesson?
Research shows, toddlers have a concentration span not more than 30 minutes. Hence, we will keep our class 30 minutes long. This will keep their interest in swimming.
Are your instructors certified and proficient in handling infants of that age?
Our instructors conducting kids classes are fully qualified with the relevant certifications from the Singapore Sports Council and Singapore Swimming Teachers’ Association. They are trained and experienced in conducting swimming lessons for toddlers.
How many students are there in a class?
Each class is limited to 6 students only.
Is there any trial lesson available?
You are welcome to register for one month lessons prior to register a package. You may refer to Toddler Swimming Lessons for more information. We are sorry that we do not offer single trial class at the moment.
My child is Asthmatic. Is he suitable to learn swimming?
We highly recommend a doctor’s opinion to be sought first as there are varying degrees of Asthma.
