Pools in the central north
Bishan's pools are mostly up high: Sky Habitat and Sky Vue beside the MRT have podium and sky-level pools, and Bishan Loft nearby is a lower-rise EC with a conventional lap pool. Along Ang Mo Kio Avenue and towards Yio Chu Kang there are The Panorama, Centro Residences and Grandeur 8. On the Serangoon side there are Forest Woods and Affinity at Serangoon near the MRT, Kensington Park on the edge of Serangoon Gardens, and Kovan Residences further east.
Serangoon Gardens is landed, and many houses there and off Upper Thomson have their own pool; those home lessons are as simple as it gets, with no guardhouse and no shared water.
Coaches and slots
This region sits between Novena and Punggol, so coaches from both directions can have it inside a typical travel range. Search with your postal code to see who is listed and free. Weekday afternoons and 7 to 9 pm evenings are usually easiest to book; Saturday mornings are tightest. Filter for a female coach if you want one.
If your pool is in one of the Bishan towers, give the level and whether the pool is on the podium or the roof in the pool notes, so the coach heads for the right lift lobby.
Pool notes: high pools, park breezes and older estates
The Bishan tower pools catch wind off Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park and can feel a few degrees cooler in the late afternoon, so for a young child a mid-morning or 3 pm slot with short rests works better. The older Ang Mo Kio estates are the opposite: ground-level pools under mature trees, cool in the morning and warm by early afternoon. Serangoon Gardens home pools are usually small and sometimes heated, a bonus for a nervous 3-year-old.
MCST practice in the region is standard: register the coach as your guest at the guardhouse, expect pool hours of 7 am to 10 pm, and ask whether a guest fee applies. Public pools at Bishan, Ang Mo Kio and Serangoon are close if you want lane practice between lessons.
Babies and toddlers under 3 in Bishan, Ang Mo Kio and Serangoon

Set by the coach
Coaches price their own lessons, usually by experience and how far they travel. As a guide, most private condo lessons in Singapore are priced between about $50 and $100 per 45 minutes for one learner. When 2 to 4 learners share, the coach's group price is split between them.
What you pay
Exactly the coach's listed price multiplied by the number of lessons. No booking fee, no travel fee from the site, no card surcharge. PayNow or card at checkout.
Trial or package
Book one trial lesson first, or a package of 4 or 8 lessons in one weekly slot with the same coach. Packages cost the per-lesson price times the lessons, with no discount and no markup.

Yes, when the home is inside their travel range. Book with your home postal code; coaches are matched by distance in the same way. If the pool is heated, say so in the pool notes.
Is a sky-level pool at a Bishan tower suitable for a 4-year-old?
Yes. The coach stays within arm's reach, a parent stays on the deck, and lightning stops the lesson. The only adjustment is time of day: sky pools are windier and sunnier, so a morning or 3 pm slot with a rash guard keeps a small child comfortable.
