No surcharge added

The site adds nothing for a female coach. Each coach sets one price per group size, shown on her profile, and that is what you pay at checkout.

Your comfort, your rules

Burkini, rash guard and leggings, or a swimsuit. Choose a quiet slot. Stay at the shallow end for as long as you like.

Why women choose lessons at home

Many women in Singapore reach adulthood without learning to swim, and then find public pools uncomfortable for reasons that have nothing to do with ability: mixed lanes, spectators, changing rooms, or simply not wanting to be watched while learning. A condo pool at 10 am on a Tuesday, with a female coach and nobody else in the water, removes all of that. You walk down from your unit, learn for 45 minutes, and walk back.

Common goals: learn to swim before a holiday, be able to get in the pool with the children instead of watching from a deck chair, swim for fitness during pregnancy or after it, get over a childhood fright, or finally do the thing you always meant to do.

Female coaches on the site

Female coaches here are independent, like every coach on the site. Each is listed only while her swim instructor, lifesaving and CPR certificates are on file and in date. Her profile shows her experience, the languages she speaks, the area she travels to, her price, and reviews from people who booked her. Many teach adults and children alike. Browse coaches.

How prices work

One rule for everyone, male or female coach: each coach sets their own price per 45-minute lesson for 1 learner or a small group of up to four, and you pay exactly that.

Set by the coach
Coaches price their own lessons, usually by experience and how far they travel. As a guide, most private condo lessons in Singapore are priced between about $50 and $100 per 45 minutes for one learner. When 2 to 4 learners share, the coach's group price is split between them.
What you pay
Exactly the coach's listed price multiplied by the number of lessons. No booking fee, no travel fee from the site, no card surcharge. PayNow or card at checkout.
Trial or package
Book one trial lesson first, or a package of 4 or 8 lessons in one weekly slot with the same coach. Packages cost the per-lesson price times the lessons, with no discount and no markup.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make sure I get a female coach?

Choose "female coach" when you search and only female coaches whose travel range covers your postal code are shown. The coach you book teaches every lesson in the package; nobody else is sent in her place. If she misses a lesson, that lesson is refunded to you automatically.

Is there a surcharge for a female coach?

Not from the site. Each coach, male or female, sets one price per group size, and that is what you pay. You see it on her profile before you book.

Can I wear a burkini or a rash guard and leggings?

Yes, anything you are comfortable in. Full-coverage swimwear is fine for learning; a coach may only suggest a change if fabric is dragging enough to make a stroke hard. Goggles help a great deal.

Can my daughter and I learn together?

Yes, if you are at a similar level: book for 2 learners and you share the coach's 2-learner price. Two beginners of any age work well together. If your daughter is already swimming and you are not, two separate lessons are better.

I have never been in a pool and I am nervous. Is this for me?

Yes. Many adult learners start from real fear. Lessons begin in standing-depth water at the steps and move at your pace. There is no one else in the pool and nothing should happen without warning. Read our guide on starting with a fear of water.

Which times are quietest at a condo pool?

Weekday mid-mornings after the school run, early afternoons, and the last slot before closing. Weekend mornings are the busiest. Pick a slot from the coach's free times that matches a quiet hour at your pool.
